Clipboard privacy and security on iPhone
Since iOS 16 an app must ask before it reads something you copied in another app, and you can set the answer per app under Settings > Apps > [app] > Paste from Other Apps. These guides cover what that protects, what it does not, how to clear something sensitive, and what to check before trusting any clipboard app with your history.

Questions
Can apps read my iPhone clipboard?
Only when you paste, or after you allow it. iOS 14 and later show a banner when an app takes content copied elsewhere, and iOS 16 and later ask permission first.
Is it safe to copy passwords on iPhone?
It is safer not to. AutoFill from the Passwords app fills a password without it ever touching the clipboard.
