Clipboard AI on iPad

Everything from the iPhone app, on the iPad, turned whichever way you hold it.

Clipboard AI on iPad is the same app as on iPhone, with the same keyboard, widgets, sync, and Apple Intelligence features, laid out for the bigger screen. Here is what is different, and what is exactly the same.

Set it up the same way

Install Clipboard AI from the App Store, then follow the same three steps as on iPhone: add the keyboard and turn on Allow Full Access, set Paste from Other Apps to Allow, and start copying. See Welcome to Clipboard AI.

Any orientation

The app works in portrait and landscape and turns with the iPad, and it respects Rotation Lock like every other app. On iPadOS 26 it runs in a resizable window as well, and the header keeps clear of the window controls.

What works just like iPhone

⌨️ With a hardware keyboard

With a Magic Keyboard attached, iPadOS keeps the on-screen keyboard tucked away. Press the globe key, or tap the small keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen, and switch to Clipboard AI to bring up your clips.
